In short: Great race - pb heaven!
In full: Superb event in every way, a pb each time I have run here. Well done to the organisers & marshals - providing sunshine too was a nice touch! Book early for next year to avoid disappointment.

In short: A race tailor-made for PB hunters
In full: My second time at the Bourton 10k and my second PB at this distance.

Very nice event, fast and flat course, starting and finishing in this beautiful Cotswold village. Good to see a range of abilities, and a good atmosphere with lots of smiling faces.

Could not understand those people who chose to cheat by not doing the full loop at the half-way point - you're only cheating yourself if you do that!!

Nice medal at the end made it a tip-top day out.

In short: Bourton does it again - another weel organised race
In full: Always a favourite. Well done for another great race. The marshals were on form again, particularly the one on the bridge at the end. And the weather was perfect! The only improvement that I could suggest would be to make the finishing line stand out more. I noticed a few people slow down once they had crossed the white line just before the finish (was it the start line?). The "finish" sign was obscured by the starter's ladder and people standing nearby. Perhaps it could be placed above the finish rather than at the side.

In short: Fast 10K
In full: This is an ideal 10K for a PB, although ym own plans were scuppered by the tail end of a bad cold. However, longside Leamington this is probably my favourite 10K.

Support was very good and the scenery was nice. I didn't mind the loops having done the race before.

The starter was good - you could actually hear him. I couldn't see any drinks afterwards but that may have been my fault. I would certainly do this again.

In short: Very fast well organised race
In full: Lots of car parking and toilets which makes a nice change. The course was not the most interesting, having to circle the village numerous times before doing an out and back and then more circles. However the speed of the course and organisation more than made up for it.

In short: Flat, fast, scenic and cold.
In full: Flat, fast, scenic and cold as ever. Had to run slow this year so was able to appreciate the Cotswold village scenery all the better. Really excellent marshalling was a big help and encouragement. And thanks to the cheerful entries secretary who held my place when my first cheque bounced! The second short lap at the end is a bit disheartening (and confusing to tired runners) , is it possible to extend the run out of the village to avoid this?
