In short: From start - and that includes the very friendly marshalls greeting runners on arrival - to finish, this race has impeccable organisation; and it's a terrific course, too.

In short: Get over here and bring the kids too!
In full: The marshalls were fantastic, the scenery beautiful and the few hills.... well, they're good for kickstarting your winter fitness plan.

The relatively late start means that you stand a chance of getting there on time from another neck of the woods/on public transport.

This was my second go and this time I worked out where the strange Petts Wood Runners logo comes from. Thanks and see you next time.

In short: One of my favourite 10k races!
In full: Love this race! Excellent organisation as always - the marshalls are amazing, so encouraging and lots of them which you need as the route through the woods is winding. Lots to keep you interested, some cheeky hills. I loved the signs along the way particularly 'Run Forest Run' put a smile on my face as I wasn't feeling very well!

It is such a friendly race and welcomes all abilities. Some lovely touches - the ever present Woody the gorilla, the bananas and a new addition this year, samosas!

Well done Petts Wood Runners!

Definitely one to include on your race calendar.

In short: Great course, brilliant organisation.
In full: What a great event. I really enjoyed the course which included a few nice hills and the odd bit of mud, not too much though! The scenery was very nice which added to the experience. The marshalls were fantastic and deserve a great deal of praise; they were positive, encouraging and very efficent and there were a lot of them around the course. Not only were there bananas at the end but also hot samosas! The results were posted online quickly so it really was a good event from beginning to end.
