In short: My first Half marathon. If they are all like this I am pleased I took up running
In full: Very nervous when I got there but soon got chatting to other runners. Really friendly bunch, even the scouts in the car park. Set off at the back and managed to work my way forwards as I ran. marshals were great all encouraged me and the jelly beans were an unexpected treat just as I was thinking my legs would go no further. Loved chating to people as I ran (why do people run with i pods, do they know wht they are missing?)

Great tee shirt wore it to work on Monday, Didnt expect a free massage. Thank you to the organisers for this half marathon. See you next year.

In short: Off road is too early, too slippery. We were jossling for space on the dirt tracks
In full: It would have been nice to find my name on the finishers list. The couple at the finish taking numbers looked a bit flustered when more than a couple came in at the same time. Not too bothered as it was just a training run and I used my Garmin.

In short: A very muddy half
In full: A very well organised race with a slightly more difficult off road section which made a change to the country roads which all began to look the same by the end. some mild undulations but not as hilly as i thought it was going to be.

The tshirt at the end is quite nice, as were the jelly babies handed out ataround 7 miles.

In short: The off-road section heavy going, but otherwise good course. Need to get results out sooner.

In short: Jolly good fun
In full: Thanks must go to everyone involved in the organistaion and running of this race, from the enthusiastic youngsters at the baggage area to the incredibly supportive marshals. The muddy section was a little interesting, but made it a different race. The T-shirt is very nice, and the free cup of tea was beautiful. Only wish I could go fast enough for the showers to still be hot, and why am I the only one not looking at the camera in the event photos?
