In short: nice course, slight inclines, exposed to the strong wind.
In full: The start was delayed due to stragglers either registering late or turning up late. The problem was that they had to walk directly towards the start where we were all waiting so we'd have trampled all over them if they'd let us go. The road was open to traffic so we all had to squeeze on to one side of the road to let cars through. The course was very good and scenic in places but exposed to a strong wind for the most part. There a few small inclines particularly in the last K in to a head wind which deprived me of a sub 45 minute (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) but all in all it was a very good experience. A couple of nice touches were the raffle for a pair of trainers at the start and the fact the organisers had a member of their club bringing up the rear with the last runner. Pleanty of stewards and 2 goes at the drinks station after 5k and 9k. Plenty of jelly babies on offer and a very nice medal to round things off. I'll certainly go back again.

In short: Flat'ish 10K race
In full: Thanks to all the marshalls/organisers for braving the cold weather for this race, at least the rain stayed away during race.
It was windy in some areas of course but also had the wind behind in some areas.
Flat course with 3 slight inclines.
It could be a very fast course if done in April/May time for the good weather.

In short: fast course
In full: Parking at the start was a bit of a nightmare, but apart from that very well organised.

Very fast course, but no chance of a pb today due to windy conditions.

Will definetly run next year.

In full: I arrived at 10.15am and already there were problems in organising where people were going to park round the rear of the hangar. There seemed to be little communication between stewards at this point. But the race itself was fine tho at times the gusts made a pb very unlikely. The course was in no way flat with a deceptive incline following a left turn after the 3K marker and both the start and finish had quite noticable climbs (tho not too long in either case!) The 2 lap course was good for pacing and not at all dull tho the lady who stood opposite the drinks table at the 5km drinks station with an empty plastic cup in her hand was an unhelpful tease!! I would have thought it best only to hold a cup out if it had liquid in it; this minor gripe aside a pleasant enough atmosphere to the race.

In short: Windy but enjoyable
In full: Having done this one in 2008 and seeing the reviews, I guessed this might be popular and turned up early. Others didn't have this foresight and I hear that the gates of the car park were closed because the staff at the Karting Centre were being abused after so many turned up late. I hope this doesn't mean the end of the race after only two events.

In short: Windy but enjoyable flat course
In full: Arrived early so missed the car(nage) mass arrivals at 10.30. Crowded start but thinned out pretty quickly. Wind put paid to fast time but still happy !. Good marshalling and organisation. Maybe chip timing next year ?

In short: Quick and well organised
In full: Really enjoyed this despite the cold wind. Stayed for relaxed coffee afterwards and so had no problem getting out of the car park. Start was rather crammed but registration, race and finish all went smoothly.

In short: A pretty good race in terrible, windy conditions.
In full: On arrival it took about 10-15 mins to park so organisation could be better. It was a very windy day, the start was a bit congested and the course wasn't as flat as I expected so not much PB potential today. If it was a calmer day I might have a had a different opinion however. In general the stewarding and course were fine. Not sure if I'll return next year yet...

In short: An enjoyable 10k
In full: The weather made this difficult and I think everyone's time was probably slower than they would have expected! It's certainly worth the trip and it's organised by runners - which is always a positive!
