In short: Hardest race ever! In full: Really enjoyed this, tougher than a road marathon. Could have done with more water stations though. Excellent goody bag included tech t-shirt. Date of review: September 29, 2009
In short: It does exactly what it says on the tin - Pure Filth !! This is one tough race. In full: This course is hard as nails. Don't turn up expecting a 10 mile plod through the woods. This is an absolute mudfest and it was a great laugh all the way round. Well worth £20 and an awesome goody bag. I'll be back next year. This makes the Grim look like a fun run for kids. In short: Loved it! In full: Really enjoyed this run and the banter was great between competitors. Much harder than I expected I loved those killer uphills and the downhills were wicked - great fun. It was well organised and really friendly.
My one wish would have been more water - I think I was chanting it by the end as the water station they had was just before all the hard work and I wouldn't have fancied carrying any through the X zone! I'll definately be back for more!!! :0D Date of review: September 28, 2009
In short: Good hard run In full: Enjoyed this - up hill, down hill, up cliffs (couldn't have done that in the rain) Not sure we really needed the turbo x thick grey mud - yuk - there was enough mud and wet already. I threw my water bottle away in the mud - another drink station would have been nice after the turbo x. The trail was well marked with banners which was good as I found myself on my own for a time - took longer than a half marathon. I made a few friends amongst the the back guys - 2.33 to beat next year. Great goody bag and t shirt. Date of review: September 28, 2009
In short: Very muddy. Very Hard. Very Very Good. In full: The first time that I have done anything like this, but despite still aching 2 days later it will definitely not be the last. Date of review: September 28, 2009
