In short: Hard as Nails
In full: I completed the race in Cardiff yesterday and needless to say I have very sore thighs. It was a fantastic race, the obsticals were testing at stages, and the atmosphere was incredible. I would definately recommend this to anyone wishing for a different 10K.
I might book a hotel next year, as I left at 05h30 from Tunbridge Wells, Kent and got back at 17h00. Long drive back after a beating.

In short: great race - like a grown ups playground
In full:
Really good as a different way of spending your Sunday. No chance of a fast 10k (haven't ever recorded over an hour before let alone 1:45!!!!! but the obstacles were what made the day. Obviously there were always going to be queues for stations but overall this was handled well except for the last but one "parquor" stage where I had a frustrating wait but was “cheered” to see it was twice as long by the time I left as when I joined. That there were only medium and small t-shirts available before the first wave set off didn't bode well for anyone large in the later waves (espetialy as you were obliged to wear them for the event).
Excellent goodie bag with a somewhat eclectic selection of gifts – quite expensive but probably justified

In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: Really enjoyed this event. Different to the usual 10k so something of a new challange. No pount aiming for a pb here but certainly other targets such as no stoping and pushing through the obstacles. Bit frustrating in that after all the hard work i ended up having to que for about 10 mins for the last but one obstacle. organisers should look at increasing the number of waves or making sure that the end obstacles are ones that are not one person at a time things.

Other than that a good day and will do it again. very sore today mind!

In short: A long but enjoyable day, ache all over the next day!
In full: A great race, obstacles were harder than expected when cobined, my muscles were like jelly afterwards! Price was justifiable due to the tech t-shirt, very good goody bag and the cost of putting the obstacles together.

Only critisism was the queue for the obstacles, having a 5 minute wait for each of the last 2 was painful.

Very enjoyable day, looking forward to next year.

In short: Great race, made a change from the mundane usual 10K although I think this was more 11 1/22. Definate do again! Fun and recommendedd, just need a bit more space on the obstacles
