In short: Good course, challenging hill
In full: On a whole a well organised event, except at a few marshall points where the marshalls were watching the race rather than concentrating on sending the runners the right way.

In short: Fab race, lots of water stations and support throughout!
In full: Very much enjoyed this - great day out with lots to do.
Small gripe - don't restrict the toilets to mens and womens. The ladies was much busier and the men just walked in.
Overall very enjoyable though.

In short: Well organised in a nice setting with things for the kids to do. The hill is only a problem if you let it be one.
In full: There was lots of discussions on here about the infamous hill. However while about 1.5km long it is no worse than the Berko half and I didn't find it that challenging in terms of slope. In fact once you hit 5k you now its downhill to the finish so I managed to pick up a good pace afterwards. Organisation was good and with bouncy castles there were enough things to keep my daughter occupied while she waited with mum.

In short: 'The hill!!' has got worse! It is longer and harder, but once it's done the rest is fine.

In short: See how the other half lives
In full: looking at houses worth more than you'll earn in a lifetime is just one of the attractions here. tough old course but worth it. gripe = why have a chip if no chip start. chip time the whole thing or just save the cash.

In short: Great organisation - watch that hill though!
In full: Second time I've run this. Managed a PB but if only I'd set off a little slower early on. Climbing over the golf club isn't as easy as you'd expect. My two kids (5 and 7) enjoyed the earlier under 10 races too. Definitely back again next year.
