In short: Very good effort for first time organisers. Just a pity about the hot weather. No chance of a PB! Date of review: September 6, 2004

In short: My home-town race. Very well marshalled. Would have been more fun if it wasn't 30°C! In full: Well, for me this is the 'Memory Lane' 10K, starting at Tewkes Creek and making its way through the scenes of my youth, finishing at my old school. I plodded round in temperatures in the early 80s, with the inner soundtrack of the early 80s to match. The whole thing really could have been a 'rites of passage' film, as we ran along Tewkes, (fires & football), around the sea wall (motorbikes & long-life) and back to my old school field, the whole course was flat, yielding, enjoyable and hot. (S0 many memories....) Date of review: September 5, 2004
