In short: Very good race! In full: I'm a member of Paris Fronrunners and ran here for the 1st time. I'll do it next year and I'll come with other Paris Frontrunners! Thank you. Date of review: August 22, 2013
In short: Great race. Great Cause In full: This was a my third Pride 10k and after a bit of preparation in the weeks leading up to the race I managed to get what seemed to be an elusive PB. After years of trying a did my first sub-45 10k ... just!
Thiis is a great race. The only drawback for me was that I missed out on this year's bagels and bananas - doh! Usually worth the entry fee on their own!
Great race. I'll be back. Though next year I shall be volunteering. Date of review: August 22, 2013
In short: 10 superb years, here's to the next 10! In full: Another fantastic race organised brilliantly by the lovely London Frontrunners. A real gem of an event where all are made to feel welcome and all abilities are genuinely catered for. Congratulations to all involved and here's to the next 10years of success. In short: Best 10k in London In full: This is just the best 10k in London. The org is great, the small touches really make a difference: the cream cheese bagels at the end, the towel at the end (much needed), the 'pacemaker' sign at the start (people do place themselves more appropriately at the start). And the runners and crowd is really friendly. Date of review: August 19, 2013
In short: Another fabulous year at a fabulous, friendly run In full: Recovering from injury so this flat, friendly, lapping run was a perfect test for me. Beautiful day amongst beautiful people. A must in my yearly running calendar. Happy 10th anniversary ... here's to year 11 :-) Date of review: August 18, 2013
In short: Loved it In full: 10th anniversary race and I've clearly missed out in previous years by not doing this race. The course is fast and flat; the only fly in the ointment for faster runners is the multi-lap format, as you have to weave through a fair few slower runners on your third lap. Otherwise, lightening quick. Lovely friendly atmosphere and the water station worked well. Baggage tent was also efficient. Queues for the portaloos weren't great, but if you were prepared to go for a short jog there were queue-free public toilets elsewhere in the park. Post-race there were bagels, bananas and water and the goody bag was actually useful for once: a canvas bag, a towel and a snack bar. Nice medal, too, for those who crave a bit of bling. Very efficient results by text service: with me within an hour of finishing. Only regret is I couldn't stay for the post-race BBQ. And all for £17 - not the cheapest of 10ks, but for central London it's pretty good value for money. Hopefully see you next year! Date of review: August 17, 2013
