In short: Good weather ,no inclines = good times!
In full: This was my fastest 10k of the last 2 years so I really enjoyed it!Just one quibble-I didnt see any 8 or 9k markers which would have been helpful(or did I just miss them?)

In short: Nice easy, flat course
In full: Having read the review from the person who said their Garmin only clocked it at 9.5K, checked my Garmin which gave it at 6.22miles, and my other halfs Garmin gave it at 6.13. I expect the tree cover had something to do with the different readings.

In short: The Sefton Park 9.5K??
In full: Did this race on Sunday I also did a pb, which surprised me as I have been out with injury for a couple of weeks prior to the race.

Was surprised after last years race to see the same old cheap and nasty event pumped out by Run Liverpool. Not enough toilets (again), suicidal start line and congestion, treacherous roads, missing distance markers, collapsing arches, no atmosphere (how difficult can it be to have a bit of music over the PA?)

Nice to see they are trying to make it into a family fun run, I will bring the wife and kids in the pram next year!

As for the distance, according to my Garmin it was only 9.5K!

Then I read the threads on the race and saw everyone getting a pb, so I did the route again on my bike using my cycle computer, and guess what? Same result!

This wouldn’t be the old chestnut used by race organisers to encourage entries for next year would it. Its an old trick to shorten the course ever so slightly = loads of pb’s = loads of happy runners, they wouldn’t do that, would they?!
