In short: Love running past iconic landlmarks with the roads shut just for me to run!
In full: A wonderful run through some of the best sights in London. Appreciated the smooth organisation and a race that starts on time. Great goodies and enjoy the festival spirit. Hope they don't increase the numbers though for next year. Weather just glorious. A perfect day all round - thank you.

In short: Awesome course, shame about the percy pigs
In full: Overall a great day, the course is incredible taking in great sights and lots of green.
My only major gripe was the percy pigs all over the ground at the M&S stations - I managed to land on one and I swear I spent about the next 20 minutes carting around half of Hyde Park on the bottom of my shoe. Nice thought but badly executed.

In short: Great day out for the runners and spectators
In full: This is the second time I've done this half marathon; it was a great day, and I beat my target of under 2 hours!
The food and fitness festival after was great, with all the freebies. I like how they have expanded the event to include a walk, but why not expand it to a weekend long running festival, with a 5k, 10k, half marathon, and make the food festival last the whole weekend too

In short: Really enjoyed the whole event from the fabulous route, the Tshirt, freebies and the very supportive marshals. My only problem was discarded percy pigs sticking to my shoe!

In short: The best big half-marathon I've done
In full: Good stuff: lots of friendly marshals giving lots of encouragement, an excellent course, a brilliant Mizuno shirt through the post with gorgeous graphics, very clear instructions and a nice wooden medal at the end. Oh, and lots of freebie food along the way and at the end.

A few suggestions:
There were urinals for men but it wasn't obvious - can they be better sited and signed?
Could the charities tent be a long, open-fronted one so that each charity gets to display its banners and can be seen from some distance away?
And could the finish be reorganised so that runner goes through lane, receives medal, gives up chip, gets lots of lovely food? I heard stories of runners being able to leave the area but missing getting their medal.

But thanks for an excellent event and for the support of the marshals.

In full: Would definately do it again! Very well organised, great route and crowds! Only slight downside is that there aren't enough loos! But its not enough to put you off!!

In short: A victim of its own success?
In full: Like all the previous reviews the event is flawless. It’s an inherently scenic course that takes in all of the capital’s landmarks and parks. The organisation is perfect; the marshals are wonderful, the crowds enthusiastic and for those lucky enough to start near the front it’s flat, fast and a PB is guaranteed.

My main concern however is the cost and the entry system. No half marathon, not even one staged in central London can warrant such a high entry fee and trying to secure a place online is a joke. This shouldn't be a problem for the organisers because demand now is so high they could probably get away with charging even more next year.

What made 2008 such a wonderful experience for me was the route and the run. Two years on, the numbers have swelled and unless you are near the front you can forget any hope of a PB. It’s a real shame because what started two years ago as a promising half marathon for London is turning into another mass participation fun run.
