In short: Typical corporate run
In full: Boring run but great for a PB. Only did this because my missus likes flat city centre runs! At least the money goes to a good cause.

In short: Very flat fast 10k with great PB potential
In full: Race is as billed flat and fast. Shite scenery apart from 20-30sec of Abbey view. Text message 30min after finishing ith gun and chip time an excellent touch.

In short: Perfect for a PB.
In full: As a race it ticks loads of boxes; PB course, great atmosphere, chip timing, text results and plenty of energy drinks. For it size, it's also very well organised. (apart from the baggage area) This is the third time I've run this race and I have promised myself never again! I really can't bear out and back races generally. I just find them very difficult psychologically and it's such a dull out and back course as well. I've finally realised I've been ruined by scenic races. As a result, despite the course being a flyer and getting a PB, I really didn't enjoy it at all..but that is all totally subjective, because, objectively speaking, as a 10k PB race, it takes some beating.

In short: Definate P.B. potential.
In full: My third running of this race and the most enjoyable yet.

The organisation seemed slicker this year than previously - so well done to all - with that number of runners it cannot be easy.

Also seemed to be more crowd support this year which is always good.

This is a definate P.B. course. Despite the large numbers running the roads are wide enough to accomodate this.

Tee-shirt nice and colourful and sports drink most welcome at the end.

See you all next year!

In short: A grand day out!
In full: Ideal conditions and well organised.
New-ish to running and just wondering what the etiquette is on spitting - it gets on my nerves when someone in front spits with seemingly no consideration for those close behind. Hate to appear all Mary Whitehouse-ish and if it's considered ok then soz to bring it up (so to speak!).

In short: Flat and fast course
In full: Flat course and I took a couple of minutes off my best time, which I did in September.

More organisation at the start is probably needed given the number of runners. The baggage and toilet queues looked very long, though fortunately I didn't need to use either.

In short: 4 Mins off my 10k PB, says it all.
In full: This was my first Abbey Dash and I loved it, for somebody who has ran 54-61min 10k's this year I was Sub 50 pace, until 8.5k. it is quick.
Organisation was good and those who are griping about runners in wrong pens it was no worse than any of the Major Races. If there was one little moan it would be to make the Start channel a little wider, but other than that. I will be back next year to crack that 50 min barrier.

In short: Well done considering the number of runners
In full: Ran like the wind- (by my standards) but 3 mins down on last year. Don't know why, but enjoyable and good vibe all round. For a good cause too!

In short: Fast, flat, well organised!
In full: Considering that over 6000 people took part it was very well organised. I suspect that a lot of people had read the comments about the start on here from last year and got down to the front pretty quickly. Wasn't much of an issue with slower runners at the front. Course is what it is, out along Kirkstall Road and back. Overall well organised and pretty fast and flat, sorted me out with a PB.
