In short: I broke my leg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In full: This was a fantastic fun race right up until I slipped in mud on the farm bit and broke my leg! However, I will be back next year to complete it without the ambulance trip!!! Date of review: November 17, 2005
In short: Fan-Flippin'-Tastic! In full: This year was the second year I've run the race and I've got to say, the mud, the streams, the hills and the bum sliding gave me a good couple of hours of amusement. I've never smiled so much when out running as I did during this race. If you haven't done it, do it... But wear decent shoes and pray for rain!
Can't wait until next year now. Date of review: November 17, 2005
In short: Mud glorious mud! In full: Well I did the Salamon Hell Raiser a few weeks back and I didnt think this could be as muddier or as hard.. how wrong was I.. It was even harder work, with more mud, extra cow patts, bogs and hills to contend with. Overall though an excellent way to spend a sunday. Even the wait at the ditch was a welcome breather! I cant wait untill next year!! Date of review: November 17, 2005
In short: My favourite event of the year. In full: Leave your watch at home, leave your best kit at home, prepare to get muddier than a naturally muddy thing having an extra muddy day in mudsville. Great fun, the best reason for being a runner. Date of review: November 17, 2005
In short: Definitely an experience to be done at least once! In full: Hilarious and hard in equal measures! Enjoyed the atmosphere and the glorious views and even waiting at the ditch meant there was time to chat to others around you! Want to be a better runner before attempting this again!
