In short: A proper baggage store would have been appreciated, and you need to sort out the delay at the finish. But the marshals were top bananas!

In short: Well organised. Good opportunity for a PB.
In full: Lots of parking. Lots of space on the way round. Not too sure how the organisers could have done better than they did. Lots of encouragement from the marshals and spectators, too.

In short: 400 runners and chip timing!
In full: Drink stations were good with a choice of lucozade and water. Start was very busy and could have benefitted from expected pace start gates. Most marshalls were good, although in one or two places there were none. The finish is the most problematic with long waits for a medal and a drink in the cold. If race had chip timing it would sort a lot of the problems out. But still i had a good fast race and will be back next year.

In short: Sharp race with very promising pb capability
In full: An extremely enjoyable half marathon with a fantastic pb capability. Portions of the course were very scenic, portions not, but 13miles is a long way to find perfection! Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable race and a definate permanent ficture on my future race diary

In short: Quick course - definite PB potential
In full: Having read some of the other reviews I can understand the frustrations at having to wait in a queue to finish.
My major gripe about this race was that for a race of this size with such a high profile sponsor I would have expected chip timing. This would have totally negated the need for all the queues at the end. Fortunately I finished early enough to miss these problems. The course was not as flat as I was led to believe and had numerous sharp turns but still turned out to be surprisingly quick making it definite PB potential (I knocked nearly six minutes off my PB). This was also quite a picturesque course - not what I was expecting in Milton Keynes! and 90% traffic free.

In short: Very good race, only problem was the finish
In full: Very well organised event, only let down by the number collecting at the end as pointed out by so many others.
Sort this out and a good event

In short: Fast course with definite pb potential, let down by poor organisation at start and finish. GPS measured 13.30 miles,
In full: This is a relatively flat course which had some great potential for fast times (took 6 minutes off pb). The race was let down by poor marshalling at start, with such a big field it needed sectioned starts for different paces. Route was nice and enjoyed the running. Marshalls out on course were a bit indifferent, kind of expect a bit more support. Liked the Lucozade support. Marshaling at finish was appalling. GPS measured the distance at 13.30 miles, two other runners finishing with me both had the distance at 13.28 miles. Expected better from such a big event, considering Nike sponsorship. Given price of entry, where was the goody bag?

In short: Nice course but finish was appalling.
In full: The last thing you want to do at the end of a race in the cold is wait around for 20min to be processed. Good to have lucozade around the course.
