In short: Gets this year's prize for the most hideous t-shirt! Seriously, a terrific soggy Sunday
In full: First time I've entered this and I'll be back for more - it was brilliant. Gratuitous switchbacks, hills you had to descend on your arse, no hope of anything like a representative time for the distance. That said, on the whole it resembled nothing so much as a raucous school outing, full of giggling, filthy, deleriously happy people - thank you Bitton RR for your spectacular race!

In short: If you fancy a mud spattered, trench trawling, wet-footed race - this is excellent!
In full: For my first cross country race I couldn't have hoped for better weather. However, I still ended up muddied, wading through "rivers" and running across some interestingly cow poo spattered lanes!! Fantastic race, with great views, a bit of a bottleneck at the "trench of mud" and some great ups and downs!! Will be doing it next year!!

In short: what a laugh. Still chuckling to myself.
In full: Really enjoyed it. Completely unnecessary detours along ditches and streams. The Q for the first ditch ended any hope of a "fast" time

In short: Very wet and muddy, pity it wasn't raining though!!
In full: Second year doing this and all I can say is well done!! This was well organised with a much appreciated goody bag. I enjoyed the stretches of water that was mixed with something suspiciously smelly!! Definitely up for doing it again next year, though hopefully it will be raining or snowing next time!!

In short: Quite frankly this was awesome
In full: Never before have I lost a shoe in two foot of mud and then had to proceed to dig it out of a ditch with my hands. Great fun, superbly organised.

In short: brilliant muddy day out in Glos over fileds and hills and through water - must like cow poo!!
In full: Organised by Bitton RR from Bristol this is an excellent event involving loads of mud, water, fields, hills, obstacles and lashings of cow poo!! Is great fun when there has been loads of rain to make the fields boggier and the mud deeper. Well marshalled and good support especially the places where you are likely to get very wet and very muddy. A must do.

In short: Tough but a great laugh.
In full: Really good fun on a Sunday morning. Running through the river and next to the bridge very different as spectators cheering runners who fell in as they tried to cross. Makes a refreshing change to PB oriented road races. Really welcoming atmosphere.

In short: The most fun I've had on a Sunday morning
In full: OK do you'll need new shoes after doing this one and the sock will probably have to be binned as well. More fun that any road run you've ever completed and a whole lot muddier!
