In short: Really can not be faulted. Superb event. Perfect for marathon training
In full: Excellent, easy parking. Doddle chip and number collection. Non-cluttered start. Flat first 3 miles to get you into pace. Plenty of water stations. A few hills on the loop to keep you working. Excellent marshals. Great medal and a chunky Kit Kat. Who could want more from a pre-marathon trainer? Excellent event.

In short: Another excellent running of the Spitfire
In full: Third time doing this race and as ever well organised, absolutely excellent marshalls, plenty of water stations with gels/jelly babies and medal that could knock a few teeth out! Highly recommended!

In short: 1st time and loved it
In full: what a great day ! very well organised event, lovely course and best of all a fantastic atmosphere from all the runners. i ran in my charity vest ( a very multi coloured Phab kids vest ) on the back i have the words London today Brighton last week ( my other vest has Brighton today London next week ) a BIG thank you to all those who ran beside me to ask (a) was i really stupid enough to be doing 2 marathons in 7 days (b) how was my training going (c) wishing me the best of luck

It really helped push me on and i finished 18 mins quicker than i planned !

Thanks to all the marshalls and to all those who cheered us on the track.

If im stupid enough to do a marathon (or 2 ) next year this is one race i will do again.

In short: My favourite race of the year - great atmoshphere, stunning scenary, perfect organization - I left feeling all warm and glowy inside
In full: This is one of my favourite races of the year. For starters, the organization is excellent with unlimited parking, enough toilets, every mile well marked, lots of marshalls etc - all those little things that can really ruin your day if they're not done. Then there is the course itself - winding through stunning scenary with enough up and down to keep you challenged but not enough to cripple you! But what really makes this race is the atmoshphere - people are there to have fun and ENJOY the run and it really shows. I had some fantastic conversations ont he way round (Clive if you are reading this, 10 miles have never passed so quickly!), the marshall cheered us at every turn and the music and cheers at the end really made my day. Great medal and chocolate bars at the end - what more could you want!
I feel like I had a beautiful morning the countryside with a big groupd of frds - perfect marathon training!
