In short: Great race up and down mostly traffic free Chiltern lanes.
In full: Friendly, encouraging, marshals. Wet feet. I went faster than expected but have various aches now, as much from the downhills as the ups. A great race, hilly but not evilly so.

In short: Scenic and tough
In full: Pacing is everything on this one. Very little flat running. The downhills were often very steep meaning that they coudl be as tiring as the uphills.
There are a couple of very memorable hills in the second half.
Beautiful scenery and very well organised.

In short: slow ascents but fast descents
In full: Well organised race with a good atmosphere. The route is very scenic with some tough hills. However, it is a fast race due to the long downhill sections.

In short: Couple of stiff hills at 8 and 11 miles but overall a great race. Well marshalled, somehow I managed a good time. Must have been the hills going down!
