In short: Challenging but great fun!!
In full: It was great to run this race in such glorious weather - last year, the Marlow 1/2 was my first half marathon in exceptionally wet weather and I'm pleased I wasn't put off doing it again! Organisation was slick, Marshalls and other runners were all friendly and once again a great T-Shirt (Although I agree with the comment about stating T-shirt size on the race application). This is definately my favourite race and I'd recommend it to everyone - this year I dragged round my friend on her first 1/2 and she's hooked!

In short: hilly, challenging but worth it
In full: Very challenging course and seeing as we started on a hill i found the first few miles hard but all in all a great scenic run with really quiet roads, excellent marshals and drink stations and good car parking

In short: Great event - thanks to all involved
In full: Challenging course, with some great climbs you don't get on many standard 1/2M town centre courses. Great support from the locals and officials on the course, much better than Windsor. Could we have a medal next year, rather than the highlighter pen?

In short: Beautiful hilly course, good organisation and a glorious day to boot. Only minor criticism is the narrow road at the start which means getting in the right position before the start is important.

In short: An awesome event
In full: The weather was beautiful. the marshals were very supportive. The organsisation was good (I have neer seen so many signs to say where to go!) and I really enjoyed it. The hills were a challenge, but that we knew! The goody bag was good - a huge improvement on some of the races I have run recently! Thoroughly enjoyable!

In short: Tough but not a killer - definitely poor goody bag
In full: Enjoyed it and it wasn't quite as scary as I'd feared. Wasn't impressed with walking to the start line though, or the fact that there was no medal and getting out of the car park at the end was a nightmare. Generally enjoyed it but it was let down a but by the little things. Some tough hills but nowhere as hard as I'd feared reading some of the reviews. Would still do it again as it's local but wouldn't travel a million miles for it

In short: Picturesque and challenging with a t-shirt that might just fit my 8year old nephew...

In short: A wonderful race despite being tough.
In full: I really enjoyed this race. Slow runners should not be put off by the hills on this course as although they are tough there is a generous 3 hour time limit. I'm a consistently slow plodder always at the back of the field but the marshalls were great and I wasn't alone in being slow. The last mile downhill is great too.
