In short: Tough, but a great, well organised race
In full: Course PB today despite the wind, so pretty pleased. A kayak would have been useful in places, but par for the course for this one for some reason! Very good organisation and top marks to the marshalls for their perseverance and good humour.

After 7 times now I don't think the hill to Rotten Row has got any easier mind!

Only negative is that I thought it a bit pricey at £18 for a local race (even if it is for charity) - nearly put me off, and likewise for the tea and cakes compared to most races - £2 is a lot for a post race bun!

In short: A tough course on a tough day (hideous weather, heavy rain, strong gusty winds)

In short: Absolutely Brilliant! :-)
In full: Fantastic challenging course. The weather was awful, the roads were flooded, but I enjoyed every minute of it. The Marshall's were fantastic and every single one offered words of encouragement. I will definitely be back next year!

In short: Brilliant half marathon! - If you're tough enough!
In full: I absolutely love this race. If you don't like killer hills, driving rain and howling winds then stay at home. However if you like a real challenge and fancy running one of the top half marathons in the UK - this is for you. Superbly organised and marshalled, thanks very much to all at the Marlow Striders for putting on another great race.

Best race T-Shirt ever!

In short: Great run despite the weather
In full: Organisation and commitment from helpers was extraordinary. It was very windy and rained hard all morning but the Marlow Striders did not appear to notice!

In short: The weather was against the runners, heavy rain, and windy, but mild for this time of year so tea-shirts, no need for anything else even with the wind and rain. Hilly and tough !

In short: Many thanks to the organisers and marshalls.
In full: Another well-organised day. I felt sorry for the volunteers standing in the rain for three hours, although it didn't stop them shouting encouragement. Running into the wind along the valley bottom at halfway was a nightmare.

In short: Ache in places I've never ached, tough
In full: Wind and rain set the theme for this race, a big Thank You to all those Marshall's for standing in it for so long and yet still remained cheerful. This race was well organised and despite the P.O. Strike, made sure it went ahead as planned. The toughest Half I've ever done but would do again, Thank You Marlow Striders

In short: Very satisfying race, great marshalls, pity no medal in recognition of toughness
In full: This is a really enjoyable race whilst being tough to say the least. The organisational side of things was excellent and the marshalls very encouraging in the pouring rain. A medal to remember those hills would have been good
