In short: great for PB potential
In full: Well organised and did not suffer any issues pre start. First mile a little narrow but did not mind 2 lap course. Slight concern about limited access to baggage at finish. Car park great location to hobble back to. Loved finishing in the broadway area. Felt special and well supported

In full: i enjoyed the race on probs, but the ban on headphones should be enforced . the lead motorcycle had to weave round people who seemed obilvious of anyboby else, this is unfair on the lead runners.
in a two lap race all runners must be aware of those who are lapping them.

In short: Much better organisation than last year, but scenery not so good due to double lap.

In short: Good race but needs some improvements for next year
In full: Firstly, far better organisation than last year, everything went to plan and the two lap format is much better than the out-and-back course of last year. It is also a blazingly fast course as a result. However, given that this race is not UKA-licensed, this is unfortunate as there will be a lot of sub 1:30s that won't make the Power of 10 (last year's race did). At the end of the day, UKA rules are there for safety and there were a fair number of iPlodders in a pen too fast for them oblivious to other runners.

For the cost of the race (note also, no goodie bag), the race should be UKA-affiliated. If today had been a lot warmer, I would have been concerned that the cups of water were only half full at mile 3 (and 9 I think, the same station) - was made worse by the fact that the station volunteers groused at me for taking two cups. I would still consider for next year if changes are made.

In short: Perfect for beginners, mostly flat with the occasional slope. Great atmosphere at the start and finish, really well supported and a great MC congratulating finishers. A definite for next year.

In short: Lots of potential
In full: Inaugural Maidenhead HM has lots of promise if issues at the start can be ironed out. Course is realtively flat but there is some rough off road and steps (!) which stops me grading it as top marks on PB potential. Good marshalls and logistics of road closures well handled. Disappointing 'goody bag' as there wasn't one - just a medal and a banana at end. Sure this will improve with time

In full: My home town first half, who wopuld not do it, sort the loop out at the start though, good to see my family, but a bit chaotic with the tail runners still starting.. Got my best time this century though, need a better training time, one long run a week until 6 weeks before was not enough to maintain a fast pace. look forward to next years race.

In short: Nice flat route with plenty of support, PB potential
In full: This is a nice flat course with plenty of local support. Parking was perfect with 2 free car park really close to start and finish line. The loop at the start was okay as you get to see supporters or family again. Just extend the loop next year and it will be fine.

I managed a PB and the heavy rain made me go slower as trainers were drenched but was happy with the rain as it cooled me down.

The medal was nice but maybe a goody bag with do it for everyone.

Baggage was chaos even though I didnt use it as I could see the queue when I went.

I would definately recommened this race. And unless there is another race somewhere else I prefer to do. I will go back and do this again. I hope I can bid on a number next year as i missed the deadline this year.

In short: I loved this event, the support through the downpour was amazing.
In full: I didn't experience any of the problems I've read about. The Start loop was great as I got to see my husband again!
I was also very happy to knock a wacking 19mins of my personal best.
There is no way I'll be missing this event next year.

In short: Fast, flat with beautiful scenery - I'll be back!
In full: This was my second ever half marathon and with my first being Silverstone, this one came with the added bonus of fab scenery! It was a joy to run with loads of space and excellent support. Loving the fact that I get to keep my number year after year!
Excellent marshalling, excellent support form the locals despite the driving rain and very good race village. Some people complained about the loos, baggae drops and start loop but we didnt experience any problem at all with any of it, the only issue we had was getting out of the multistory car park at the end which isnt the organisers fault - oh and the terrential rain! Again, not their fault but if they could have a word with the weather gods next year that'd be fab!
Excellent medal too!
