In short: Basically a good race ruined again by poor organisation. As I write this Sunday night still no results posted up despite chip timing and marshalls in your face telling you 'no chip no time'. Despite all that, a good race with PB potential.

In short: a fabulous fast course makes up for failings
In full: "Chip Timing" but gun to finish, not start to finish. No memento. Was a bit disappointed after last year. Course is as fast as ever.

In short: It's local so I'll always do it but many probs this year with parking, chip timing late medals ceremony and a slightly detached unenthusiastic stance from some of the officials.
In full: MKAC stage some good races but need to learn from a few mistakes this year. Why have chip time at the end only, then restrict the start to a narrow track? Why aren't the electronic results on-line over 24 hours later? The parking was poor but that's difficult to fix. Having the race HQ across a busy a road seemed dangerous. There was a bridge but many were not using it. And who was that rude chap barking at the runners like naughty school children at the start. All in all not up to usual MKAC standards. I suspect a few runners got the wrong chip which explains the late results. But this was bound to happen due to a fairly chaotic system of collecting your number, then manually handing out the chip, with no back-up system. Oh dear...

In short: As a first timer to this type of event, it was hard to compare, but I enjoyed the afternoon, and will certainly enter this again and others over the year.

In short: A good bit of fun, flat and fast - if that's what you like!
In full: A variation on the big then small lap of last year, this year was a small then big lap! Yep, it was a bit wet and bits were a bit muddy - but then it is November! Chip timing was interesting although it did not match my Casio time - maybe I went through a time zone? Do it again - of course I will and try to better my time!

In short: Did a PB which is always good. A couple of puddles would not stop me recommending the race for next year

In short: quick wet and muddy = D
In full: despite the weathers attempts to make this a war of attrition it was actually nice and sunny (well despite the slightly nippy wind) the big puddle was fun and the mud was well mud.I liked the big screen with results too. Good race and no doubting where the finish was!!!!

In short: Decent race, despite the weather
In full: Too windy, ankle deep water on the back stretch, muddy. But great fun. Only real issue was the lack of a mat for the chip at the start! Garmin had it as 36.01, chip (somehow) had it at 36.25!!!!
