In short: Brilliant Early Morning Race... In full: The wife & I (power) walked as she's got an injury, but what a great race. Lovely scenery, excellent echo in the Viaduct, Little bit of off road, couple of cracking hills and downhill for 2 miles at the end. And an 8.30 start, which means home for lunch. More races should try this. See you next year. Date of review: April 19, 2010

In short: Cracking race! In full: Lovely weather, great scenery, easy parking, varied course, great atmosphere. Will return year-on-year. Only slight let down was the cars near the finish but that's being picky. Date of review: April 19, 2010

In short: A lovely early morning race - lovely weather and organisation - what more do you need In full: I have done this race a few times and have always been at the back using the running/walking method and have never run up the hills.
This year after training and the gym I have started to run all the time and this was my first 10k challenge. I did it all without stopping to walk and smashed just under 14 minutes from my normal time for this event. I bet Paula Radcliffe would like to do that!
Great morning and it made me realise I could call myself a runner!
Thanks to everyone who gave their time up for the event and the race director who asked us if we enjoyed it. Yes we did and we will be back. Date of review: April 18, 2010

In short: well organised, challenging and wonderfully scenic race - definitely in my calendar for 2011 already! In full: This race was recommended to me and didn't disappoint. There's ample parking in a grass field about 200 metres from the start, and thankfully the weather was amazing because that could get messy in the wet!
The start was well sign posted and had a good warm up area with toilets (possibly could do with some more port-a-loos next year but the marshalls made sure nobody missed the gun!!)
The course itself is very picturesque and it was easy to get lost in the views over the first 5kms. Any lapse in concentration though was erased over the the next 2kms with two challenging hills, the first of these off-road. The last 3kms is a gently undulating stretch that is ideal for a fast finish if you have any gas left in the tank after the hills.
There was good support along the way, with marshalls (and the police I believe) ensuring the course was basically traffic free. The course was well marked and the kilometre markers were very precise.
And to top it all off, a very well designed and presented finishers medal at the end. A great end to a great race!
Well done to all involved. Definitely back next year... Date of review: April 18, 2010

In short: Beautiful first half, tedious main road at the end In full: I loved the first three quarters of this race; the weather was beautiful, the scenery Kent's best; I was running well. But the long stretch of the A20 at the end was a bit of a turn off - isn't there a better route? Off road? Date of review: April 18, 2010

In short: Well organised race on a lovely course In full: Thank you very much to Swanley District AC for such a well organised and enjoyable run. The hills were slightly tough but made coming over the finish line all the more rewarding. Date of review: April 18, 2010

In short: VEry scenic race with a few challenging hills! In full: My first time at this race and I really enjoyed it. The carpark that had been set up in the field nearby was a well thought out bonus. The guy on the microphone was brilliant at the start organising people and also was very encouraging at the end calling out peoples numbers and commending them on their efforts! All the marshalls were brilliant and very encouraging ! Obviously I must mention the scenic route including those hills which were quite a challenge ! Also we even had brilliant weather I cannot recommend this race enough I will defnitley be back next year ! Thank you for a brilliant race! Date of review: April 18, 2010
