In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: Contrary to what some people have said I had no problems with traffic, parking close to the start, or with facilities. Perhaps it's because I arrived with more than two minutes to spare...?

The hills really give you something to work on and make this course much more enjoyable than a flat equivalent. If you don't like them do more hill training!

It's good to finish on a downhill too!

In short: Fantastic course, hilly but supringly fast.
In full: I love this race and it was good that the weather was friendly for once. The organisers make significant improvements every year to the facilities which is great to see. The only downside is that its always hard to get into Berkhamsted and get parked and almost as painful to get out.

In short: Excellent race - lovely scenery with challenging hills but good downhills to compensate.
In full: Better water stops than last year - well done! Racing bikes coming in fast groups in opposite direction intermixed with cars a bit worrrying. As an oldie would have liked more category prizes such as FV 45 - 50, 50 -55, 55 - 60 etc. Don't stand a chance competing with 35 year olds!! In spite of this, enjoyed the race - a PB for me at this event which I have now run 5 times.

In short: Beautiful part of the world, the run takes you to places you would never imagine!
In full: Had a fantastic morning and hilly means hilly, but what goes up must come down so a good mix.
Great marshalling and organisation, but the speedy cyclists coming in the opposite direction did scare me on more than one occassion!
Didnt see the 'free carparks' so thank you to the locals for allowing me to abandon my car outside your house. The map that came with my number could have been better and perhaps readable but a great event and thank you.
