In short: My local Half
In full: Well marshalled and supported and much better this year without the "Walk the Walkers" starting in the middle of the field. Could be cheaper if the T shirt is optional

In short: Good race, for the second year running. I only wish the two hills (although not that big), around mile 11-12, could be removed from the course. Specators could also have been more up for it on the return to the city centre.

In short: A well-organised, professional half-marathon with lots of encouragement throughout. Really good 'family' atmosphere. Enjoyed this run so much that I am now moving to Bristol in March 2005! See you next year!
In full: PS: I hope the gorilla who got cramp about 400m from the end is feeling alright!!!!

In short: A PB by 5 minutes. Plenty of drinks (water and energy) and in bottles/squishy bags that are easy to carry for a short distance.
In full: The start was good, only 50 seconds or so to cross the line. It was good to hear announcements asking people to start by the markers where they really did expect to finish.

In short: My first race at this distance, and couldn't have wished for a better organised event. Thanks to everyone who put their time and effort into it and to the other competitors who made it really friendly
