In short: superb race with excellent start and finish facilites, friendly and enthusiastic marshalls
In full: The organisers deserve huge praise for getting this event on despite the ever increasing problems with jobsworth local authorities and long may they continue to do so as well as for the rally friendly and enthusiastic support engendered by all marshalls around the course. Great advert for Knavesmire club.
How many races have escalators to take one up to sumptuous lounge and refreshment areas where one can watch a video of the race just after it has finished??? You can here.
Scenery - in mid January - forget it- and concentrate on a well thought out fast course with PB written all over it

In short: Very enjoyable although very tough with a strong wind.
In full: There wasn't supposed to be any wind! It must have cost a couple of minutes off everyone's time! Still, a PB (1.22:19) just, so happy. Great organisation and a fantastic setting for the prize giving and refreshments afterwards - can't fault anything. Even the marshalls were excellent and very enthusiastic (although not quite up to the Stockport 10 marshalls - but then I'm biased!). A great turn out from Stockport Harriers - 18 of us there.

In short: even better than last year
In full: Well done Knavesmire Harriers! All last years small 'glitches' fixed. Perfect organisation, friendly supportive marshalls all round the course, great goody bag. Results by the end of the day is a first as far as I know for this race. You deserve your success and long may it continue.

In short: An excellent race and a new PB
In full: Really enjoyed yesterday. New PB by over two mins despite the wind which seemed to be head or a cross wind almost all the way! Very well orgainised, great marshalling and measuring spot on. Enjoyed the lovely large cuppa at the end in the refreshments area. Great post race facilities and only a very hsort queu for the ladies. A great sweat short too. A very good value for money race as well as being good fun. Hope I get a place next year.
