In short: Respect This Race
In full: Yes you have to Respect this race, the description of this race as being Hilly is an understatement. There are 2 monster climbs in this race, one at 1 mile and the other at 9 miles, these are nothing that you can imagine or describe until you have done this race....I thourghly enjoyed it. Fantastic organisation and encouragement by the marshals and spectators and the scenary is to die for, beautiful. But a big warning....if you dont like hills this is one race you want to avaoid. Unfortunatley I luv 'em so I'll be back next year :)

In short: Superb scenery and a great challenging course
In full: The organisation was faultless. Everyone was friendly, a great credit to the village of Eyam. 1st time at this event and despite the hills and getting absolutely soaked at the end, just might do it again.

In short: Checked the site for next years entry already. What does that tell you
In full: Quite simply breathtaking scenery. Eyam village did themselves proud and i shall definatly be visiting there again soon. Very very welcoming. The Miners Arms serves great beer. Marshals at the start directing the cars for parking little stars, fully understood i needed somewhere to unload a pram and car full of children and directed me to a perfect spot. Oh yeah i PB'd too strangely :-)

In short: Still tough. Still brilliant
In full: This isn't a course you're likely to set a PB on but there is more to running than just that isn't there?
A great run around minor roads in the Peaks. A couple of major climbs but also a couple of speedy descents to go with them. Wonderful scenery, friendly marshals, a good sized field so you're always around people but not so many people that you can't run at your own pace.
