In short: My first race ever after stopping smoking in January, a habbit I had for 32 years, the clock did not seem to be working so only got an estimated 63 Minutes, but to my dismay some how they have missed me completely in the results !!!!

In short: Hot and flat, superb running past landmarks like Blackpool tower and lapdancing clubs
In full: A truly wonderful event, flat as a fluke, loved the support from the people handing out oranges and the drumming group, will not forget 5 old ladies urging me on to the finish, yelling 'you can do it luv,' even though by then I must've looked as if I couldn't. My first 10K, beat my PB despite heat. Will definitely do it again next year.

In short: Good fun run down the prom
In full: Was a good run for beginners, nice and warm on the day, flat course. The guy 'running' talking on his mobi, smoking fag, about summed it up.

In short: Hot!
In full: Had set my heart on a PB here as it was so flat, but the heat took its toll! Well organised. I entered online and had no problems at all. Liked the fruit stop and plenty of water, but the water stops were a bit crowded, could do with longer tables. Great atmosphere too. Will do again.

In short: An excellent race
In full: Having made my return to running after a three year absence, I entered this race at late notice. After only 2 weeks full training, ran 48 mins in the heat. Excellent organisation, can't wait to be fully fit next year and really attack the course. An excellent race for beginners and seasoned runners.
