In short: Very hilly for first 6 miles!
In full: The first half of this race was tough, very tough. One particular hill after about 4 miles was ridiculous really, especially if you're new to half marathons. It could well put you off. Crowds were good, goody bag naff but t-shirt was one of the best.

In short: Improvement on last year!
In full: The extra space on the ring road at 6 miles was appreciated, plus the drink stations had not run out past 7 miles, whether this is due to better organisation or cooler weather than last year I'm not sure.... but please don't give Gatorade in cups! It means you have to stop to drink it or get really sticky...the sponges can counter this though! In agreement with other comments, we have some great parks and landmarks in Leeds, if the council could give the LHM a bit more support to allow altering the course I'm sure it would attract more runners and supporters.

In short: A race of 2 halves - grim for different reasons.
In full: A good race that I enjoyed as my third HM beating my PB by 7 minutes.
First 6 miles quite tough - some long uphill drags - not really steep but long.
Also last 3 miles a real drag along Kirkstall - a long straight road.
Plentiful drink stations with very welcome wet sponges.
Great support at the final stages.
One I'll be doing again for sure.

In short: generally very good race
In full: Hillier than I expected. The organisation was very good, and would have been excellent had they not run out of medium T shirts at the end ( a small point I know, but people should remember what they put on their entry forms & take the relevant one!)
Great support for the final mile.

In short: Another Superb race in Leeds City Centre
In full: Well executed and better space this year around the busy road section. Plenty of drinks available. Will do it again next year. Excellent support from the people of Leeds. Many thanks
