In short: Not bad at all
In full: Much better organsied than expected. Agree with the comments re the narrow paths of some parts of the route and the pavements definitely need attention (some of us put up with it all the time though round there!!).
And tshirt reads more like an advert.
But plenty of water. Even when bottles ran out there was plenty of cups. Not much in the way of support from the crowd (but a big thank you to those few who did make the effort to clap and encourage). And the corporate relay runners could have made the effort to encourage those of us doing the full distance instead of standing gawping. Pleased with my time on a fairly difficult course. One plea to my fellow runners-please be careful when you discard bottles etc. Ta.

In short: Good organisation, route a little dull in places, great support
In full: I enjoyed the race, but the route at times doesn't show off the city as well as it could (meanwood road, parts of Kirkstall, the ring road were very drab)

In short: Very Good Top 3 of the Half's I have run this year.
In full: Congrats to all helpers and organisors they did a great job. Would have liked to have seen some water in the finishers bag but throughout the route there was plenty of drinks stations and places to get hold of the elusive damp sponge. I managed a sub 1:25 which althouhg not my PB was respectable given the course.

In short: Go Leeds!
In full: A good run, not as hilly as I was afraid so beat my personal best and was really pleased to get under 2 hours. Some parts of the route were very uneven but no problems really. Agree that it was disappointing there was no food in the goody bag - was starving by the end and had to be resuced by some friends with Haribo!
Great organisation and friendly support - well done to everyone involved. Always a pleasure to go to Leeds!

In short: Very enjoyable as a first half-marathon
In full: My first half-marathon (and only my second ever 'race'). Enjoyed it and thought the organization was very good. Only complaint was that some sections of the run were on rather rough and narrow footpaths, where one lane of the road could've easily been closed.

In short: Great atmosphere at start and throughout. Very well organised. Where was the High5?
In full: My first Half Marathon (first race, in fact!) Great atmosphere at the start. Well organised for water. No sports drink though. What happened there? Had to watch out for bottles strewn about on some stretches. Might be a good idea to have big bins, I'm sure runners would use them if given the choice. Great support at the finish. Will be back next year.
