In short: Do it, you really have to, along with the Terminator next month. Flat as a millpond. Honest...... ;-)
In full: After the recent rains it was better underfoot than I'd envisioned. Had the craic with a few people on the way round. I want one day to see someone running up the hill you need your hands as much as your feet....Fanatastic organisation, Marshalls were very encouraging. Well done all involved.

In short: Hilly, Hard and Great Fun
In full: I had been waiting to do this since late 2009 and was delighted to finish. The organisation was exceptional from the parking to the marshalls, all went like clock work.

The description of the race did not hoodwink you, the hills really were tough.

Loved the bacon sarnies and cakes at the end, will def recommend this to anyone. Got a bit confused with the medal then it was pointed out to me that it wasn't actually a medal.

Big thanks to the organisers

In short: Tougher than I Anticipated!
In full: I was surprised how tough this turned out to be, but I'm glad I did it. The route was very well marked, & the marshals were lovely. The cakes were a sight to behold, what a spread, so well done to all involved. You'll never PB on this race (unless it's your first 10 miler of course!) but it's a great race & worth turning up just for the cakes! Looking forward to next year!
