In short: Flat, Fast & Well Organized
In full: I shaved 90 seconds off my personal best on this course, so overall I'm pretty happy.

The organisation was much better for this event than for the British London 10km two weeks ago. However, the atmosphere running through Hyde Park was more subdued.

I was pleased that timing chips were used and that there was a staggered start in waves. However, although I started right at the front of the third wave I still overtook a lot of joggers and walkers.

Some parts of this course are narrow and passing was difficult at times. I would definitely run this race again.

In short: Great race in general
In full: Why oh why, do some people insist on going with the faster runners and then walk at 2km??? My friend and I put down an accurate time (in the white A zone) and then within a km started overtaking people from the orange zone walking!!! So annoying and downright rude in my opinion. Apart from that, excellent organisation, great course and lovely weather! We will be back in 2009.

In short: Fun day out and enjoyable run
In full: Good start, long queues for loos though, great atmosphere. AND - ran out of Large t-shirts but have been promised that they will send one on!!! AT last NOVA acknowledge the 'bigger boned' runner (I'm not obsessed by t-shirts - I run races and they never fit). Thanks NOVA - at last.

In short: Great race. Improved on last year
In full: Well organised. Friendly marshals. Not enough loos, which meant we missed our start, but was able to go out with a later wave.

The event was well attended and the course felt a bit crowded at times. A lot of pushing a shoving in places, especially around the water stations. Thanks very much to the lady who stopped dead by the water station and nearly sent me flying!!!!

All that aside I really enjoyed this race and will definitely be back next year.

In short: More Loos Please!
In full: The organisation was worse that last year. As there were so many complaints about the loo queues last year I thought there would be more portaloos, not less. I had to queue for 30 mins - and I had got there early. There were too many people, but it would not have seemed so bad if they had been in the right wave. Other than that a great event - in a great location. I am pleased with my PB!

In short: Well organised and enjoyable
In full: I thought this was really well organised given the huge numbers of runners - the wave start meant the start was a lot calmer than I'd expected. Friendly, knowledgeable marshalls and good weather meant an enjoyable race, and despite the odd rude runner shoving into me, I still managed a PB so I'm very happy!
