In short: fast, well organised, no frills event In full: great event which is well organised with huge PB potential. Plenty of space to run without feeling isolated. Nice support when running through the villages and supportive marshalls. Date of review: April 12, 2010

In short: sunshine, flat, great atmosphere - great way to spend a sunday morning. In full: I love this race, not least because it finishes a mile from my parents' home and a well-earned Sunday roast! The weather was perfect, and the atmosphere was lively - a thoroughly enjoyable race! Date of review: April 12, 2010

In short: Well done, organisers! In full: A well organised event, a course on quiet country lanes, smiling marshalls, enough water stations, ... altogether a great day out! I would definitely do it again, even though the wind was indeed quite annoying on the first 6 miles today. Date of review: April 11, 2010

In short: Well-organised race on a fast course In full: I enjoyed this race; the organisation was slick, the course fast (well, apart from the head wind for the first half and the short climb over the railway towards the end!) and it was incredibly good value compared with other half marathons I've done. Nice mug at the finish, and even the T-shirts were much better value than normal. Thanks to all at White Horse Harriers, I'll certainly do this one again. Date of review: April 11, 2010

In short: Cheap and very cheerful In full: A well-organised, flat run through some pleasant countryside, and a couple of pretty villages (with a decent turnout of supporters). I will do this one again Date of review: April 11, 2010

In short: super no frills half In full: very straightforward no frills out and back flat rural half. well marshalled, markers pretty accurate, plenty of room at start. good for pb hunters as well as socials. all in all does what you'd like. wish a few other races were like this. a choccy bar at the end would be nice but it feels churlish to carp.
