In short: Challenging, friendly and well organised run. Those hills hurt.

In short: perfect for a little challenge
In full: such fantastic uphills that the downhill route towards the finish line is oh so welcoming and so worth finding that little extra sprint speed for

In short: A friendly race, great for all levels of runner.
In full: A well organised race on traffic free country lanes with a couple of hills to make this a fairly challenging 10K course. The organisation was fantastic and the marshalls were very friendly and helpful. Great for first time racers.

In short: Traffic-free, well-marshalled course
In full: Nice course, through traffic-free lanes, friendly marshalls, a nice atmosphere. The hills are not as bad as I'd remembered them from last time I was here, in 2006, but it was much much hotter then. Parking is easy, all in all a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning!

In short: Good race which looks easier than it actually is. Good flat finish after the difficult hill. Not much spectator support as it was nice and rural.

In short: Average race with some hills but well organised and easy to find
In full: Scenery although out in the countryside felt pretty dull...juts down one country lane, a quick loop and back again - not much to look again. A few challenging hills made it feel tough especially near the end. Mile markers easy to spot, parking fantastic with good signage. Water and a medal at the finish. Overall a good well organised and at times challenging race. The heat at times this year made it feel very warm.

In short: Great local race. Really enjoyed it.
In full: Good organisation and marshalling, this race takes place on narrow, undulating country lanes in lovely rural suuroundings. No traffic! Yes, the hills are challenging but that last dash under the motorway, across the park to the finish is just excellent fun!

In short: Challenging and yet very enjoyable run.
In full: There are quite a few hills throughout but all are manageable. The downhill sections do allow you to complete the run in a reasonable time. Marshals were excellent, event was well organised, and scenery was very enjoyable
