In short: Undulating- not flat! In full: Enjoyed the run, but I would argue that it should be described as undulating rather than flat. Good organisation and a useful goody bag. Date of review: April 19, 2009

In short: Great atmosphere, undulating but fun. In full: Having done this last year, this is definitely a regular in my racing calendar. Very well organised. I was very early in arriving but everything was in place and I was very impressed. Great facilities, particularly liked the music at the start/finish and the band en-route. Very well supported by local people and lots of support en-route. Lots of marshalls on the course, very scenic and just challenging enough without being too hard. Only downside was having to change from pavement to road whilst running. One of my favourite races. Also liked the goody bag and mug. Date of review: April 19, 2009

In short: Great undulating race In full: a very enjoyable race, great atmosphere with good support on route. the route was a mixture of town and countryside with a nice little hill at the 9k mark, the only negative was the bottleneck at the start caused by too many slow runners at the front Date of review: April 19, 2009

In short: Hilly! In full: The organisation was excellent with lots of happy, cheery, smiling marshalls. Would definetly do this again next year, and despite the unforeseen hills I got a PB so loved it even more! Date of review: April 19, 2009

In short: Tough 10k course. Congestion needs to be sorted out In full: I think that this year the organisation was taen over by Corsham Running Club (in previous years it's been the Rotary Club, I think.) Pre-race organisation was good right up to the start. Instead of starting on the road (as I'd done in previous years) I ended up back in the car park funnelling through a narrow entrance. Then it was crawl for the next km. My own fault for getting boxed in, but in previous years I've always managed to get onto the road.
Apart from that the race seemed to be as good as ever; well marshalled, great T-shirt, and fantastic weather. One water stop (ideally placed just before half-way) on a 10k seems enough. Date of review: May 1, 2008

In short: Another succesful race for Corsham Running Club and others In full: Agree with the problems at the start, with so many entrants it did get a bit crammed. The course is undulating nothing more than that. The weather was the biggest problem for most I would think. Being so hot (compared to the weather most would have trained in) would have made a huge difference. Another water stop was amust really in those conditions. Overall another succesful running of a good local race! Date of review: April 28, 2008

In short: Very pleasant run, love the t-shirt! In full: Very pleasant run this, but quite a challenging course so not really PB territory. In any case far too congested at the start and most of the way round to run at optimum pace.
It didn't help either that it was the first warm day of the year, and many of us were struggling in the heat (I know I was!) but nothing the organisers could do about that. Having said that, a water station at 4k and another at 8k would probably have been better. I was gasping for a drink at the end, and not just the alcoholic variety!
Very pleasant and friendly event, well marshalled and supported, plus the t-shirt was one of the best designs I've seen. Excellent value for moeny and if I'm not recovering from FLM will be back next year. Date of review: April 28, 2008
