In short: this was my first half and I wasn't expecting so many hills so the time I expected to run went totally out the window

In short: Great scenery, organisation just okay.
In full: The weather was great, the scenery was amazing BUT water stops under staffed, marshalls okay but mostly grumpy looking, finishing line okay at best. I have run 5 half marathons this year and this was the best scenery but the worst organised...still will most likely run it next year.

In short: See you next year!
In full: Fantastic race, although quite undulating! Thankyou to all those runners who encouraged us at the back when we ran down opposite sides of the road in the park, it certainly made a difference to tired legs.

In short: More undulating than flat, but a great course all the same!
In full: This was my first Worksop Half Marathon, and only my second half-marathon ever.
All credit to Worksop Harriers and their friends for setting up a great event. It was very well marshalled, went through some terrific scenery in Clumber Park and the other runners I chatted to were very friendly too.
I think I read that the course was flat apart from an uphill in the first mile. This is not actually the case - the course is quite undulating, but that did actually make it a bit more interesting. The great bit is that the last mile is downhill all the way! If it hadn't been for that, I think I might have given up at mile 12 :)
