In short: enjoyable
In full: Really enjoyed the race, marshalls and crowd very supportive. Not sure of time yet but I think I may have a PB.

In short: Nice fairly flat course, lots of water stations, good atmosphere. No goody bag but nice medal. Would make a good first half marathon.

In short: Very good race
In full: Well organised, good value, and great P.B. potential.

There were lots of volunteers who made this event run smoothly.

In short: Good all-rounder
In full: Very lucky with the weather, as a half in mid-June could have been scorching. Yet light rain and a light breeze along the sea-front made it perfect running conditions.
No hills (unless you count a slight incline around mile 11), so your legs do feel the constant pounding with no break from the flat. However it does mean you can get round pretty quick.
It is a two lap race - if you don't like doing loops/laps then don't do this race. The loop is good way to test your pace and try and do a negative split(!). Great also if your running with people you know as at each turn you always see someone coming back (in front) or from behind. Great for morale.
Fantastic marshalls - smiley despite getting wet
Great water stations and sponge stations. Thanks to all the volunteers on these.
Shame that there was no 'free' t-shirt, but appreciate it's all for charity. Also a shame there was no choc/fruit bar to finish. After 13.1 miles even a banana would have been welcome.
Can't fault it though - it's easy to travel to with the train station opposite the start, traffic free route and a good friendly atmosphere.

In short: A straight road out, same one back and the whole thing again was just a little too boring for me - sorry.
In full: I imagine that the decent club runner would find the straight, flat road excellent incentive to achieve a PB. However, as an average club runner, I would have liked a little more to look at. No fault of the organisers though. It is what it is, but I won't be doing it again.
Also, whilst the car park marshalling was great for incoming cars, trying to leave the event was an absolute nightmare; it took me 35 minutes to get to tarmac.

In short: A good atmosphere maybe a bit repetative
In full: A really good atmophere, supporters lining most the route. Really well organised. The only bad point i would say is going up and down the seafront four times can be a bit soul destroying.
