In short: I shattered a year-long P.B. here today by 3 minutes. Very impressed with everything. Well Done.

In short: An excellent organised race - but Long Eaton isn't pretty!
In full: I really like this race, it's well organised, a good price and a really nice t-shirt....but Long Eaton isn't the prettiest place in the world and a personal gripe is that I never like racing on a field - it tends to lack a sense of having a course! (does that make sense?).

Still Long Eaton RC really do the best with what they have.

Thanks for organising.

In short: Great race, and very well marshalled
In full: Great chance of PBing on this one, a very fast race. Marshalls were fantastic and a good t-shirt after and a great turn out.

In short: Not many 5 milers out there, good chance to improve my time.
In full: Good mix, tone set by accessible fun run at start and pretty park setting. Lots of local clubs turned out to provide a healthy field.
Very smart blue T shirt at end and free beer.

In short: Great event, really enjoyed it
In full: Start and finish in a park but other than that not a whole lot to look at. Flat course though and definite PB potential, I knocked over a minute off mine.

Bargain entry and good organisation. Start delayed by 5 mins but that was to allow the fun runners to finish so you can't complain about that.

In short: Well worth doing ...
In full: Whole organisation was great. Great facilities, plenty of toilets etc.
Good range to run through: Park - residential - town centre.
Start was on a field with loads of space, and the marshalling all round the course was spot on. The finish was back at the sports field with a goodie bag and a much better quality T-shirt than last year. Beginner friendly. Will be back next year….
