In short: Outstanding and perfect people
In full: My 6th Marathon and its tough one then Loch Ness. But its fun,Prilent and Superper run of Calender Month with pure speed and soar legs come with it allso inwhich I make friends on the way from Lincoln and Scunthorpe to chat with me after the race. Its like bonding besides the Speeding Cars along the long track of road and not anough sign for runners. Its abit confused day.I will certainly do it again maybe 2010 hopefully London,John O Groats,Orkney next Year .

In short: one of the friendliest races on the calendar, excellent organisation, T-shirt to be worn with pride
In full: The unseasonal sunshine showed off the fabulous scenery but it did get a bit warm out there in the hottest part of the day. As always the race was well organised and very friendly. The supporters on the route are maybe few in number but they more than make up for it in enthusiasm (and the Fetch Everyone group must be hoarse today).
Almost everyone waited around for the prize-giving.

In short: Far too hot for my poor self, but excellent support and great scenery
In full: My friends were out with their purple pom poms cheering everyone on, gave me a lift at 11 when I wanted to die! Great scenery and organisation - although I didnt appreciate the detour over the lock - I ran 26.32 miles! Thanks to the supporting older woman in the blue jumper who turned up everywhere I went! What happened to Fort William being the rainiest place in Scotland?

In short: A glorious day. I was even able to see the top of Ben Nevis, a rare but welcome sight, it made walking the last 5 miles much easier to bear!
