In short: Nice and flat and improved on last year
In full: Lovely morning and a good flat course. Has improved since last year, two laps rather than three and on wide tracks at the start rather than skinny paths.

I thought there were enough marshalls and although there was only one water station it's only a 10K! Not having km markers was a problem though - and is my GPS up the spout or was that 200m over 10K?

In short: Scenic, flat and nice goodie bag too.,
In full: Regents Pk great to run around. But the park so used by the public that you've got to keep your wits about you - almost tripped over a Jack Russell myself. The Marshalls were only apparent at the road intersections so just as well someone in front knew the route. So not all smooth but overall a good atmosphere and a fast course. I had a good day and would definately do this one again. The G bag isnt the thing but this one put some other events to shame, muesli, 2 chewy fruit bars, fruit strips, massage gel and er..a bottle of eco washing up liquid... and innocents fruit drink from a table as well. Perhaps an earlier start and watch the numbers are in order to get this one 100%.

In short: Started off well but not enough marshalls
In full: Started off well with an energetic warm up and a nice atmosphere. No hold ups at the start and very smoothly organised. Then I realised there were no 1KM markers despite all the literature saying there would be. There were nowhere near enough marshalls, especially for a big park such as Regent's that is full of runners on every surface possible. I also heard one of the marshalls talking about running out of water which is criminal on such a hot day in exposed areas. 10Ks really need two water stations IMHO anyway.

In full: nice route around regents park, very flat two laps, PB potential is high. no km markers nor marshalls which is bizarre because i saw a guy with them before the race started so i dunno what he did with the. only one water station, bit rubbish. atmosphere was nice and light, just a fun day really

In short: Running round Regents park was wonderful, however the route was not very well marked. There were no distance markers and only one water station.

In short: Good cause but needs better organisation
In full: They ran out of water mid way through the race which was badly organised.

This was the 2006 race but the option will not let me choose this year

In short: Good London 10k
In full: If you're going to give out a doggy bag, put something in it- a crunchy bar and a couple of leaflets isnt worth the hassle. TAUT drink is OK, but cant seem to buy it anywhere.
