In short: Great marathon with a stadium finish
In full: Organisation and marshalling were superb, course was good bar the subway at 24 miles which was just cruel & the Weather was perfect.

Support was great especially at the Fetch drinks station - thanks to anyone that cheered me on (believe me it helped)

All in all a great event and a Sub 3 PB as well - hats off to Abingdon Amblers

In short: Course set up for quick times
In full: The loop through a car park at mile 11/20 and the constant up/down kerbs during teh last few miles (and the under pass!) took away some of the flow of the course.

Well organised and marshalled, but why no refreshments for spectators - you could have made a few quid selling bacon butties.

In short: Abingdon is back and it's better than ever. Congrats to all.
In full: Loved it, even though I hit the wall at 23 miles! Thanks to all those who put some much into bringing it back and well done to the plentiful and friendly marshalls. Top marks to all.

In short: Fabulous!
In full: A great marathon; well organised and marshalled; lots of drink stations and friendly support enroute. For me, one of the greatest pluses was the absence of any long soul destroying sections. You were running along pavement one minute, crossing the road the next, having a jaunt along footpaths, taking a turn and there's the Thames...right up this next bit, and hey ho, I'm now being sent here, or there, out in the country, through the historic town centre, I had no idea what I was going to see next... just BRILLIANT! There was so much to occupy the mind that the miles just flew by (well, almost!). What a change from some of those big city horrors where you can run several miles along dual carriageway slowly going insane. A large cup of coffee and a well stocked goody bag were just what the doctor ordered for the finish. Well done to all concerned in the organisation. I will be booking for next year as soon as applications open.
