In short: Hills anyone?
In full: Wow. Read in reports about those hills but didn't quite expect them to be so harsh! Especially in 30 degrees! Well organnised, water on every mile, still really enjoyed it! Nice goody bag at the end which is unusual!

In short: Not for the faint hearted!
In full: 3pm start, temp. in 30's, lots of hills, odd 6.5 mile distance all adds up to fun afternoon. Have chickened out of this for last 2 yrs, Am now glad I did it. OK was worried heart might explode at bottom of London Road. Shame more folks didn't turn out.Loads of support. Glad Red Lion Pub was near finish or may have been v. tempted to retire injured. Recommended Run!

In short: another hot one, and the hills do not make for a PB, but starts and finishes in a lovely park with lots of space for an after-run picnic. Plenty of water stops and loads of friendly marshalls.

In short: Do not underestimate the hills on this run...not sure that undulating really describes it sufficiently as this suggests gentle inclines and not small mountains!!
In full: This course was much harder than I had anticipated. There are a lot of hills to run up. Great for a challenge but I am not sure I would say it was suitable for beginner runners. You will definitely discover muscles you never thought you had!! However, enjoyable challenge.

In short: Very friendly, but pretty hilly!
In full: Today was around 28 degrees, beautiful sunshine and a great atmosphere aound the park where the race starts and finishes. really encouraging marshalls and lots of locals helping you round the very undulating course - I'm not sure there are any flat stretches! So not easy for beginners like me, but a fun afternoon. Lots of water and orange juice after the race. Maybe a few portaloos might help...
