In short: Third time lucky!
In full: This was the third time I did this race and was chuffed to bits to win 1st Vet Female. Lovely end to the year.

Definitely more entries this year - word is getting round about this race. Well done Tadley Runners.

In short: Well organised and challenging XC race
In full: A great XC race - challenging but not too difficult to make it impossible to run most of the time. A few streams, trees to vault, hills and soft muddy ground made for an excellent XC course.

Very well marshaled, a friendly bunch of runners and soup was a lovely touch at the end. Will definitely be back this year.

(only slight organisational concern was signing for the car park coming from the west - it took us about 15 minutes to find it and meant one of our club missed the start owing to the rush. Probably our fault for not starting early enough though!)

In short: Mud glorious mud!
In full: First XC since school, which is longer than I care to mention. It was cold, wet and filthy muddy..... so all in all a fun race! Running across streams, through mud and clay as your feet go off in opposite directions and although extremely hilly in places much fun to do. Well done organisers.

In short: Winter warmer with Soup!
In full: Weather was kind which made for a fun race. Organisation good though if the weather was lousy the ten minute walk to the start wouldn't be enjoyable. The race itself was fun and mildly challenging with some arduous muddy uphill sections. Soup was welcome at the end but not well advertised.

In short: A very friendly well organised traditional XC event
In full: A really enjoyable, unpretentious, old fashioned cross country race. It has the lot - stream crossings, cultivated field edges, hard paths, mud, puddles and a few testing little hills. It also has friendly runners, supportive marshalls, vocal supporters, and at the end - Soup. A great day. I'll be back.
