In short: Thanks to the Tadley Runners for another enjoyable race. In full: The mud makes this a slow race but it's still great fun. Didn't hang around for the soup as my cold was returning with a vengeance.
In short: Lovely muddy woody cross country In full: Lovely muddy woody cross country - seemed like more than 5 miles of effort. I could have done without the long walk back as I was cold - what soup?? Otherwise great, thanks! Date of review: December 19, 2006
In short: Fantastic fun as usual. In full: Looks like your starting to get the entry levels that this great local race deserves. It's a must do race. Well done to Tadley runners, hope this swells the coffers for you. You deserve it.My favorite race of the year.Just one thing, can we have another momento other than the mug please as I have quite a few in the cupboard now. Cheers. Date of review: December 11, 2006
In short: Great fun very wet and muddy. In full: A great proper cross-country course 4 water crossings with one knee deep (great fun!!). Will be back next year, thanks to the marshalls who gave great support. Date of review: December 11, 2006
In short: Well organised and challenging XC race In full: A great XC race - challenging but not too difficult to make it impossible to run most of the time. A few streams, trees to vault, hills and soft muddy ground made for an excellent XC course.
Very well marshaled, a friendly bunch of runners and soup was a lovely touch at the end. Will definitely be back this year.
(only slight organisational concern was signing for the car park coming from the west - it took us about 15 minutes to find it and meant one of our club missed the start owing to the rush. Probably our fault for not starting early enough though!) Date of review: December 11, 2006
In short: Mud glorious mud! In full: First XC since school, which is longer than I care to mention. It was cold, wet and filthy muddy..... so all in all a fun race! Running across streams, through mud and clay as your feet go off in opposite directions and although extremely hilly in places much fun to do. Well done organisers. Date of review: December 11, 2006
