In short: Excellent, well organised race. Shame about the weather! Still, thoroughly enjoyed the race - thank you to the organisers for a great time.

In short: Great race, finish a fiasco
In full: You can't order the weather but I thought that everyone kept cheerful and made a really good day.
BIG GRIPE...... We finished in 2:22, by no means last. Only 'M' T shirts left (no good to me), no goody bags and no water! I was wet and tired and got very grumpy. You asked me for a shirt size in advance.... Why??
If you know how many people are running, why not enough goody bags? The lack of drinks was criminal, by the time I got back to the car I was suffering quite badly.

In short: Very well organised race over a fairly challenging route.
In full: Fourth year in a row I've done this and I'll be back again next year. Organisation is very good, lots of marshalls, road closures, signs, water stations etc.
I really enjoy this course with a nice mixture of steet racing and countryside and a couple of small villages to run through. Finishing on the track and getting a hot shower is always welcome.
My thanks to the organisers and all helpers who turned out on a horribly wet and cold day.

In full: Overall I thought it was a well organised race & I really enjoyed the route. The crowd were great and I liked the stadium finish. I only have one small gripe and that was at the start. I felt it wasn't very clear where you should stand in the line up before hand and it didn't help that everyone crowded round the archway to keep dry/warm. Other than that, it was great. Oh, just remembered another gripe! The NB t-shirts were great, but it would have been better if women had been given ladies sizes. I've given my t-shirt to my Husband!

In short: Great new course with a lovely start coming out of the castle and straight into town past the cathedral.
In full: Despite challenging weather this was a great run. Lovely start out of the castle and then heads out of Carlisle into some of the nearby villages. Lots of hills to get stuck in to, but good support from people along the way and very well organised.
