In short: BEST RACE I HAVE EVER ENTERED. WELL DONE!!!!
In full: THIS WAS THE BEST RACE I HAVE EVER ENTERED.
got a p.b which was nice,I live in Lincoln so had to pick up my chip but the girls on the desk were so quick at dishing them out it was no problem.
Great goody bag-t-shirt and medal-bargain!!!
Great support.
Marshalls were fantastic(they had some rude locals complaining about the closures so had to put up with a lot).
Lovely route-I was born in Cov and love the city but it is not the most picturest of places but the route was excellent.
Cheerleaders were great.
It had a big race feel even though their was just over 2000 runners.
If only other councils supported races so well-well done to Helen the organiser-many could learn from you.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR

In short: Beginning was hillier than I'd expected, but a much better route than last year. Good to see there is some green around Coventry. Very well organised, improved on last year's good organisation.

In short: Great race was expecting hideous hills and encountered lovely parks instead, loads of support round all the way round
In full: Was on for great pb but nasty hill after mile 12 ate a precious minute away, still managed a pb but didn't appreciate the last nasty hill right at the end!!
Great run though, such a fantastic atmosphere and the crowds really kept you going - there were people the whole way round cheering. Fab, really enjoyed it.

In short: Even better than last year
In full: Really enjoyed last year. The course this year was much better, but some of the hills were tough, especially the last one. Cheerleaders at Warwick Uni were brilliant and good support and marshalling all the way round. Seemed to be better organised this year. My only gripe was having to collect the chip - for those of us no longer living in Cov that was a real pain.

In short: Very well organised race with good support especially from the cheerleaders. Great T shirt and goody bag.
In full: From a personal point of view I would have preferred to have the chips sent out by post. Perhaps higher signage of race predicted finish times so that they are not obscurred by runners in the pen.

Other than these two small items I reckon the organisers had everything covered. Top marks and big thanks to all those involved.

In short: Excellent race - My first Half, and I really enjoyed it.
In full: Great atmosphere with plenty of support from locals and marshalls along the way. The route was enjoyable, with a mixture of residential estates and parks. Excellent organisation with plenty of loos and efficient baggage storage.
If I had to find fault, it would be the fact that you had to pick your time chip up before the race - As someone else has mentioned, it surely wouldn't be a problem to post them out with the race pack, with a return envelope if you didn't run. Also, when the marshalls were collecting the chips back at the finish, they really should have had boxes to put them in. They just had them in piles on the pavement, and one pile was scattered everywhere when some poor chap exidentally walked into it - I hope they all got collected up again!!
