In short: If you want to sttetch yourself beyond 10k this is worth a go
In full: Good for those who want to try something a bit more challenging than 10k; undulating but no really steep hills. My only grouse is the two mile stretch along a busy main road

In short: Nice small race
In full: This is nice race, the hills are not to severe but they give you a bit of a test and the scenery is nice. The downside is the presence of traffic on the course, but this is an inconvenience more than a big problem, and it's not really a practical option to make this course traffic free. Organization was excellent, everything went off pretty smoothly - bananas at the end, reasonable goody bag. Having the first water station a little earlier would be nice. Enjoyed the race and will probably be back next year !

In short: Really Ripping Race!
In full: There seems to be something quite unfair about a three-mile shallow(ish) climb, followed by a rapid quad-thumping descent - yet by the end of the run I felt great, and very happy I did this. Very well organised - whoever arranged the weather did a particularly good job - and a nice goody bag. Only improvement I'd look for is in the attitude of a few dumb drivers.

In short: God I had forgotten those hills.....
In full: Back again to try to beat last years time. As I got to mile 5 and was still going uphill realised why my time was so slow....having said that I got a PB!! Could have done with a water station a little earlier and its a shame I won't be able to wear my t-shirt since they all came up large but the bag was nice and the efforts put in by the organisers appreciated. Nice atmosphere. Must say thanks to the white van who pulled right out in the middle of a crowd of runners without a care in the world at the beginning of the race - wouldn't be the same without you.
