In short: Great 10 miler
In full: This is my local race (walked to the start) which was great, except almost psychologically destroyed at mile 7 when the course switched back away from the finish line for another mile and a half! Banana welcome at the end, and three water stations rather than the typical two for this distance helped in humid conditions. Will be back. Organisation spot on.

In short: Very challenging with seemingly more 'up' than 'down' but encouragement along the way is quite uplifting!
In full: My second time around. Slightly slower than last year, I think, but I'm certainly not ranked amongst the elite so an extra minute means nothing compared to the feel good factors that seem to be part and parcel of this event; from the brilliant organisation right through to all the people involved before, after and along the route it is undoubtedly a great experience and has now become my favourite race. I felt that we,the runners, were really cared for, and a special thank you goes to the young girl who was telling everyone 'well done - only a mile and a half to go!' - It certainly encouraged me to put a bit extra in!

In short: second time for me and 'enjoyed' it again!
In full: Lovely course. I cannot honestly fault the marshalls or the organisation, truly superb from start to finish.
A hard course but a nice part of the world to suffer in!(lucky to live 15 minutes away)
Only one tiny gripe - water in cups? Great that there were two water stations but maybe one with bottles would be a consideration next year, as would bottles at the end too.
A kit bag and a banana is however is a wonderful change to the standard Tshirt - a really useful race momento.

In short: A scenic undulating challenging run.
In full: I can recommend this one if you like an undulating/hilly run.
It fitted in nicely with my marathon training for the autumn.
Well organised and marshalled from the start, the ascents seem to outnumber the descents! A good day out!

In short: Brilliant organisation, lovely scenery, accurate mile markers. Will be back.
In full: Thanks to the excellent marshalls and organisers. Not too hot, but is 9.30 doable as a start time? Surely not too hard to get up early in the middle of summer! Abbey dash starts at 9.30 in dark and damp November. Thanks again.

In short: Nice scenic course, well attended, pleasant runners and marshalls
In full: Its a long time since I entered a race (twenty years!) so I was a little aprehensive. No need to worry though as it was a good day. Very hot, but bearable - course good, well marshalled. Will definetely enter again.
