In short: A huge improvement in the organisation from last year . Still one or two wrinkles in the course - surely we can avoid the double backs. Overall, a good race.

In short: Well organised, good course. Definately PB potential.
In full: Everything appeared to go like clockwork (except getting out the car park at the end). Well done to the organisers for taking on board the comments and criticisma from last year and making such an improvement.

In short: Massive improvement on last year - well done to the organisers!
In full: Better route than last year, especially the finish! Dodgy mile-markers made pacing a bit hit-or-miss, but a fast course with PB potential. The race village was excellent and a free post-race massage was just the ticket! With a couple of more tweaks i.e. sorting the mile markers and a a bit of fruit at the finish, this race could soon even rival Glasgow's half-marathon!

In short: 100% better than last year, although when I got back to my car I had to wait for 45 minutes before I was allowed out of the car park. Prior warning would have been appreciated!!
In full: Nice race, although some of the mile markets appeared a little dubious when compared to my GPS, although it corrected itself by the end, unlike last year when I am sure it was nearer 14 miles!!!

In short: Great race, much improved on last year
In full: I was a bit apprehensive after the poor organisation of the race last year but credit to the organisers, they really pulled it off this time round. Great race, well organised.

In short: Much improved from last year - thanks to the organisers
In full: great day out - managed an excellent pb and lots of friendly folk. My only plea would be much better mile markers and more loos at the beginning for next year

In short: Excellent stuff!
In full: Thanks to all - very good day all round! Like everyone else, I was reluctant to enter at first because of last year's stories, but was delighted I did, as this was an exceptionally well-organised event this year. Can I have km markers next time? Thanks to all!

In short: Great Race - Good Day more support would have been nice.
In full: My first half so I might be biased by that. I loved the scenery as I think only 15 min is dull/industrial and I love running with a view of the water.
Good organisation, plenty of loos, lucozade stands were great. Started on time.
Relative flat with a few gentle rises (which feel like mountains when you're tired).
Marshals were mostly miserable sods - no clapping, smiling, cheering, waving. A few were lovely. Support was almost non-existant.

In short: Great race with massive improvements on last year!
In full: I did this race last year and it was full of problems, so was really hoping to see big improvemts this year. Thankfully, the team of organisers took it all on board and made huge changes to this year's race. The start and finish was great, with the 'racers village' being a really good area to keep us all together. The course was a good one and all four people I ran with today got a PB! Only comment would be that bigger mile markers would be useful- I didn't see any signs until 5 miles. Well done organisers for a great 2007 race!
