In short: What as the weather doing?????
In full: First time and wow! Not sure I would do it again but planning on giving up running after FLM so won't have to train this time next year. Well done evryone on such an awful day - and why did the sun come out this afternoon, if only for a bit?

In short: lovely downhills, a wee bit wet...then testing climb - super run
In full: So enjoyed this run, perhaps it was the torrential rain and wind, there are plenty of recoveries so don't get put off on the hill (only one but it comes twice), great race

In short: Shame about the weather and the hill (times 2!)
In full: Nice race but terrible conditions with driving rain, wind and Palesgate Lane with its resemblance to the North Face of the Eiger.

Other than that all fine and see you next year!

In short: Fast downhill start. Brute of a hill. Friendly event.
In full: Hats off to the marshalls! I would rather run the course than stand about on a horribly wet and windy day like this one. The hill is an absolute beast but at least you know what to expect the second time round. I expected to regurgitate my breakfast but, thankfully, didn't. Not sure if running through the ford in waterproof shoes was a good idea. They may not let water in, but they don't let it out either.

In short: good but tough
In full: i thoroughly enjoyed this race it was the first time i had run it and wasnt sure what to expect so didnt get a PB i would certainly consider doing it again to try and conquer the hill in a better time. if the weather was better it would have been even better.
