In short: First 10 miler and first big event - Brilliant!!
In full: Great run, great crowds and support. Marshalling tip top but mile markers too low.

Traffic getting in was horrible - surely Mr. Plod could oversee some of the traffic light bottle necks!!

In short: I would recommend this race to anyone. It is a fast and flat race and excellently organised. Wave system has helped enormously. Plenty of water stations. Marshalled brilliantly. A first class race!! This will soon be as big as the Great North!!

In short: A hard chug but enjoyable
In full: The flatness of the course would have been extremely dull had it not been for the crowds cheering us on in most places. By going in the 3rd wave, I had the bonus of overtaking for most of the run, which is always helpful.

In short: A great race - really well organised
In full: I really enjoyed this race - the longest distance I have done and finished more than 2 minutes inside my target time. There were slower people in front but there was enough room to overtake so I think the wave system worked well. I missed the mile markers at 4, 5 and 7 miles but think this made me run faster to get to the next marker! Loved running with all the spectators and the bands around. Great weather and was well impressed when I got back to my bag and found I already had a text message with my finish time! Bad experience with the travel agents so will organise my own accomodation etc next year. Thanks to Nicky from Tewkesbury for looking after me before the start.

In short: and the band played 'sussex by the sea' !!!!!!
In full: I love this race, my 3rd in a row.

The wave works well, but could be better if organised by times both by wave & within each wave!

That said, i still improved my time from 1.44 to 1.29 down to 1.25 this year (though the GSR is no longer my 10 mile pb)

My phone received the finish time text within minutes of my crossing the line. An excellent addition to the services provided.

And the brass band near the finish line played 'Good Old Sussex by the Sea' as I went past them!!

See you all next year

In short: The sort of event that gives running a good name.
In full: Fantastic. The atmosphere was inspiring, the organisation was flawless, the course was lovely & there was no wind! I have never enjoyed a race so much. Roll on next year!
